To loosen stiff drawers

If you have a wood drawer that won't open easily, just rub a candle over the edges of the drawers and on the runners inside the cabinet. You will find the drawer will open much easier!

You can also sprinkle corn starch over the same areas of your drawers and this too will make them glide easier.

Remember not to pull too hard as with this added smoothness you may just have the contents of the drawers on the floor.
